This is a rare opportunity to paint at the historic Little England Plantation in Gloucester County, Virginia. Follow a cedar-lined lane past a pecan grove to the circa 1716 brick Georgian home set along one mile of water frontage. The estate is located on a point of land bounded by the York River and Sarah’s Creek looking out toward a marina to the west. In addition, Little England is a 58-acre working farm. Other painting options include gardens, quaint outbuildings, barns, horses, sheep, ducks, a pig, chickens, dogs and cats.
Participating artists are invited to display their Nocturne paintings at Stewart Gallery, 6655 Main Street, Gloucester Courthouse from May 23 – May 28. Stewart Gallery will exhibit these Nocturne Paint Out paintings as part of the plein air exhibition and sale in the gallery during the Festival week. Ask your friends to stop by Stewart Gallery during the week to cast their vote for the People’s Choice Award!
