Lynn Mehta lives and works in Alexandria, Virginia. She grew up along the Pacific Ocean and began painting at an early age. With a B.A. in Art from San Diego State University, Mehta continued her studies in workshops of internationally acclaimed artists in the US and abroad. In May 2016, she completed an artists residency in Acadia National Park. She is a member of the Washington Society of Landscape Artists, Mid-Atlantic Plein Air Association, the American Impressionist Society, the Salmagundi Club, and is an Elected Artist Member in the American Artists Professional League. Mehta competes in numerous juried shows and plein air competitions, receiving many honors and awards. In 2016, she was published as featured artist in the internationally circulated Plein Air Magazine and Washington DC’s Hill Rag. Her artwork is held in public and private collections.
