John Brandon Sills received he BA in Fine Art at Towson State University, studied Renaissance Art in Florence, Italy and at the Schuler School of Fine Art in Baltimore. His paintings are in numerous collections in the United State as well as collection in Canada, England, France, Jamaica, Grand Cayman B.W.I. and Australia. John has won numerous awards including First Place in the Mid Atlantic Plein Air Painters Association’s Paint Annapolis exhibition. John also won the Best Painting by a Maryland Artist award at the prestigious Plein Air Easton competition in 2010 and 2012 as well as the Artist’s Choice Award in 2011. In addition, John won first place at the Have de Grace Plein Air competition two years in a row, 2010 and 2011. Recently John won the Grand Prize in the 2014 Plein Air Easton competiton.
