Andrée Tullier was born in Lafayette, Louisiana and moved to Annapolis as a young child. After graduating with a B.A. in Studio Art from the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland Andrée received her Art Education degree from Bowie State University, Bowie, Maryland. She taught high school art for a short time and then embarked on a graphic design career.
In high school Andrée was drawn to Impressionism and became passionate about the color of light in nature, which continues to both amaze and challenge her. Andrée teaches Drawing and Painting at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts (MCHA) in Annapolis, Maryland and at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Maryland. Andrée is a member Maryland Federation of Art, Maryland Pastel Society, Mid-Atlantic Plein Air Painters Association, Portrait Society of America and serves on the board of the Maryland Society of Portrait Painters.
